The State Network Council are quarterly meetings designed to obtain feedback from the critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Kansas, as well as provide education and support to the CAHs. Rural health network and CAH leaders, as well as other interested parties involved in Kansas rural health, are eligible to participate in the state network council. Typical items that are discussed during the meeting include a regulatory update from KDHE, reimbursement update from the fiscal intermediary, and a legislative update from the Kansas Hospital Association. Often times, other agenda items include those projects and programs that are being funded through the Kansas Rural Health Options Project.
